The Family of Man is a legendary photo exhibition, registered as a UNESCO Memory of the World heritage. The collection is composed of 503 photos by 273 artists originating from 68 countries. Assembled by Edward Steichen and first shown at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York in 1955, the exhibition is now permanently housed at the Castle of Clervaux. The Family of Man est une exposition photographique légendaire, inscrite dans le registre de la Mémoire du Monde de l’UNESCO. La collection est composé de 503 photographies de 273 auteurs originaires de 68 pays. Rassemblée par Edward Steichen et montrée pour la première fois au Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) de New York en 1955, l’exposition est aujourd’hui installée en permanence au Château de Clervaux.
