EYCA adopts its four-year Strategic Plan

The European Youth Card Association (EYCA) adopts its brand new four-year strategic plan, outlining the Association’s ambitions and defining the outcomes for the upcoming years.

“One thing that hasn’t changed here at EYCA is our core values - our commitment to inclusivity and putting young people at the heart of our work." - Louise Macdonald, Former President of EYCA.

EYCA’s aim is to create opportunities to empower its member organisations and to help create pathways for young people, fulfilling their potential, as we emerge from this period of turmoil and rebuild.

The Card is a powerful tool to improve the lives of young people across Europe and engage them in youth policy. The European Youth Card unlocks access to a range of opportunities, experiences and services for young people.

For the 2021-2025 period, three strategic goals have been defined:

  • 20 million cardholders across Europe
  • Young people using the European Youth Card to access information, travel, study and work
  • Young people across Europe engaging in policy development through the European Youth Card
